buying boat in the US...

from what i understand of buying a boat in the US, is that you need to make sure the trailer has no outstanding recalls form the manufacturer and pay the duty at the border...does anyone know for sure?

Trailer must also have lights as this is required in Canada but not the U.S.

You'll pay your GST/Duty on the border and then pay $209 for Transport Canada for the trailer.....
