Buying dining room chairs in Edmonton

Does anyone know where I can get some good quality dining room chairs in Edmonton for a decent price? Checked out Ikea, Brick, Leons, Ashley furniture and didn't like what we saw.. Don't really want to spend $400 per chair, but would like them to last for a few years.. ideas??

Those prices seem pretty reasonable. How's the quality? We have the walmart specials now and the cushion is terrible.. springs in the butt.. wobbly also..

These are the interior designers we use for our show homes and client's homes. They order furniture from the same suppliers that Urban Barn, Cottswood Furniture, etc get their stuff from. The prices are comparable to the competition. Tell them Kelly from Infiniti sent you.

I'm unsure but my exwife and i did outfit our new home with quite a bit of their furniture, dining room chairs excluded, and that other furniture was fairly sturdy.

Try the Cottswood Clearance center at 18619 111 Ave. Picked up a solid birch dining table with two extensions, two captains chairs and 6 side chairs for 3k last May. Made by Mi-di Furniture. Let them know what you are looking for and make a deal. Clearance center is only open Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm.

We were at sears and they have some pretty sturdy chairs there, but the ones we were looking at were 2700 out the door for 6. That is nuts!

Kijiji is your friend, we got a table and six chairs with oak hutch origional ly make by "old hippy". Origional price about 10k used price 1k but its in like new condition. Take your time and look around and you'll find something nice. Antique auctions can be good too if you wat really sturdy chairs. We got our first set about 20 years ago for a couple hundred bucks and they lasted all this time.

We've been looking on there, but can't find anything as of yet. It's tough when just looking for chairs.. may have to just buy a whole set on there.. would be cheaper than just buying new chairs..

The cheapest places to obtain used appliances are in the various county ditches. Over the years we have had a stove, freezer, fridge, a complete dining room set, sofa etc. all within a mile of our place.

The ones that we don't want, the county will pick them up.

It's one of the advantages of residing close to an urban centre.

If you want heirloom furniture check out antique shops and church sales.
I saw 8 beautiful oak dining room chairs at a church rummage sale that were priced at 800. Replacement or retail value 3200 easily. Check out estate sales too.
