At Home

Bought an Espresso machine from CT and I drink more milk now than I did as a kid. Beans are Kicking Horse, grind 'em at home.

I stop at Timmy's every day on my way to work, for my XL black and a muffin. All the clerk needs to ask me is "what kind of muffin, today?"

My main "dealer" is Fratello Coffee (http://www.fratellocoffee.com/). 49th Parallel (http://www.49thparallelroasters.com/) has some nice coffee, but it is hard to find here. If I'm heading south (Lethbridge is south, right?), I will pick some up at Cuppers (http://www.cuppers.ca/).

Variety is the spice of life; I have my favourites, but love trying new coffees.

actually just switched to green tea but Home brew with 18% cream was my thing. I refuse to sit in a line for an average cup of coffee. If I do stop it would be Mac D and a egg Mac Muffin as I do not Timmy's breakfast sami's neither.

After a Timmys coffee I normally have to make a run to the crapper about a half hour after consumption..

Lol haha! :sHa_sarcasticlol:

I didn't click the poll, have had maybe 3 cups of coffee in my life, and that was only because there were real good cookes to dunk in them. And of course lots of cream and sugar to kill the rancid taste of the coffee.

I enjoy many different coffees; with cream but no sugar.
At home - Tim Horton's or Melitta Deluxe
On the road - MacDonald's or Tim Horton's
In a pinch - Shell or Petro Canada coffee in the gas station

There is a fantastic roast from Papua-New Guinea I tried recently. It's available in Red Deer and I'm going to pick up some for sure.

When I lived in the US, Dunkin Donuts coffee was one of the best. I don't know if it's still good.
I use to drink Santo Domingo coffee in the Dominican Republic, it was also very good. Tim Hortons is nothing special, just like Starsucks, overpriced crap….

Columbia.

Get a coffee at the local General Store that's pesticide free. Prefer that over anything else, but I'll drink almost any coffee.

French press, or a stove top percolator at home or at camp.

Used to drink Tim's when I was a teen, then I realized it actually isn't very good. Since I started brewing my own (of any brand, though I have a secret fav and don't want to let the word out!!) I realized Tim's doesn't actually taste much like coffee at all. That being said, McDonald's has started making a decent cup since they began to take it seriously a few years back.

I would agree with others, Kicking Horse is great and so is Midnight Sun Coffee Roasters
if you ever get up to Whitehorse... though I had a friend who used to bring me a few pounds every other month. :sHa_shakeshout:

Home brew freshly ground Jamaican Blue Mountain. Either Wallenford Estate or Jablum Gold. It's kinda pricey and I don't buy it all the time but from all the coffee I have ever tasted I have yet to find anything better...

The best coffee by far is the stuff we have at work, Tim's or green can Nabob, and a pass through Bunn coffee maker, bottled RO water too.
I voted home brewed, since I'm there a lot more than I'm home, or so it seems.

7-11 Kona blend.

I go out of my way when this is in season. I even order beans directly from growers Hawaii. Not often but its a treat.

I hand grind and press my morning coffee almost every day. for you kicking horse fans, try Level Grind(ground?) fair trade coffee, the dark roast Columbian is very rich and mellow with a slight acidity, have a cup of it with some 18% cream and a touch of cane sugar. yum.

4 o'clock in the morning Tim Hortons perked on a Coleman stove next to the stream I'm fishing.

My wife will roast, grind and then brew coffee all while dressed in traditional clothes. Of course she has to serve it in special cups, while listening to traditional music, and burning incense.

First time we camped with my parents, my mom asked her to do the coffee thing. So she roasted the beans over the fire, and ground them up by hand. Then served us all a small cup. My dad says he probably would not be able to sleep very well, to which my wife said "that is why we don't usually do the coffee at night".

Another time she had the fire trucks show up at our apartment in Abu Dhabi. Her and a couple friends were doing the coffee ceremony, and too much smoke was pouring out the balcony. It appears it was not the first time the fire department were called to a coffee ceremony.

I couldn't take part in the poll because I do not drink coffee. Tea yes, coffee no. However one of my sons is a Tim Hortin freak to the point that his picture is on "The Tim Horton wall of coffee drinkers" in the one he goes to.

Drink most of coffee from home or at work. I voted for Tims since the post asks where do I like my coffee. May have only 3 cups per month from Tims, but I certainly do enjoy them.

Normally I prefer my coffee from home...usually either Maxwell House or Folgers.

If I end up buying a coffee somewhere it'll usually be from McD's along with a breakfast gut puck.

Tim's coffee is just awful.

Transcend in Edmonton. I just order their beans through mail and make the coffee at home. They roast them very well - not burned, no nicotine spray, lol. To each their own I guess.

I stop at Timmy's every day on my way to work, for my XL black and a muffin. All the clerk needs to ask me is "what kind of muffin, today?"

If you see a guy driving past a tim's drive thru shaking his head at the insanity of all the lined up sheep idling(how come there's no idling bylaw for this BTW?) for their hot beverages, well, that's me...

Oh & i grind my own coffee at a store.

Mcd or Tim's for me and wife likes Starbucks so we rotate around. The best cup is at home though. Beans from Costco and freshly ground at home. Then relax in the easy chair with my feet up and sip away. That I really enjoy. :)

Sadly most of us have never encountered unprocessed coffee. A friend sent me a kg of natural vietnamese coffee . Real coffee is always black no matter how much cream one adds . The oils coat the surface after a few minutes bringing the coffee back to black. We are cursed with a kurig now so doubt ill ever get to drink actual coffee again.
