I just looked at one of these in cabelas, I was thinking of picking it up, they are very pricey but I heard they are the best. Any reviews or comments?

If you have the money, then sure, but i havent had any problems with coleman or similar brands. Guess it also depends on what applications you're using it for.

If I needed one and had the money, I would get one. They look like they could take a beating and hold together.

Engel seem to be built better. I've bought 7 or so for gifts. Go to Underwater Kinetics (sponsor here) and you'll be amazed how much you'll save. I was getting mine for less than half of Bass Pros price!!

Have a look at. Pelican coolers, they look better than Yeti, pelican is a good name. I've never came across an Engle so I can't comment there.

I bought one, Tundra 125, to bring home fish last year from our salmon trip. I packed it with ice and fish, two days to get home and the ice had barely melted. So I thought I wold leave it in the garage to see how long it would take to melt. A week later my wife made me clean it out and there was still some ice in the bottom.
They are expensive but should last a lifetime if you look after it.
