I used to hold a monthly game that went for 3 years.It was pretty nice overall with a good mix of people.I would make dinner and we would enjoy a sociable meal and then play poker.Buy-in was $40 with no limit on re-buys and winner take all.It was later modified to winner 75% and 2nd place 25% and along the way we added a $10 bounty on the winner of the previous game.
