I am looking for a gun to put in my pack so weight is somewhat of an issue. It needs to be enough gun to be accurate up to 300 yards and have enough punch for Elk/moose. I am leaning towards a 300 WSM with a synthetic stock. What are your thoughts on this gun for this application or is there a better option that I should be looking at. Thanks for your help
