View Full Version : Took the gun to the range today

Took my Weatherby Vanguard to the range today. Chambered in 300 Bee and all that is done to the gun is I free floated the barrel myself. These were the first 3 shots from a cold clean barrel using Weatherby Factory ammo 180 grain SP. Scope is a Bushnell Elite 4200.

all lies!!!!!! That was from my Remington 870 today. Dont you remember we had to move the gong up to 10 feet away so you could throw the weatherby at it, since the weatherby couldnt hit them with bullets??!!

All jokes aside, it was great to get away from work and hit the range. That beast shoots awesome. all the little "Ping, Ping, Ping" going on and all of a sudden, "BOOM" everyones like, wtf is that. LOL. you got to post that pic of the Bee, the light was perfect.

Thanks for the heads albertabigbore cant stand lies those holes do look like they are made from a remington.:D:D

Nice looking gun and a great looking target too.
Some people spend thousands more and get less results .
I realize its what you like, can afford,etc... but the satisfaction of well placed shots sure add confidence when the choices made all comes together.
btw, what does the factory target look like?

Nice shooting. Looks like they cleaned up the range a bit there, last time I was up there last year it was a mess. For some reason we are getting a lot of former members of that club coming down here and joining ours, is there something going on up there with that club?
