This summer when devolping my new coyote load for old deathwind since the 120 ripped them up a bit and it seemed like most of the energy blew out the other side. So i bought a bow of hornady 75 v-max and took them to teh bench. So it ended up being 55.1 grains of imr 4350on top of a cci large rifle primer in a winchester case. i have only shot a cuople groups with them the best the first to are touching then third i blame because i was being eaten alive by mosquitos was a inch to the left:mad3: but anyway so the first calling stand i do this year i call in 3 yotes i shot the first at 40 yards anbd the 2nd at about 250 neither bullet exited and neither had time to spin.i held a bout a foot over ones and 400ish and i over shot him. i want one of them scopes of best of the west for them long shots

You'll get exits soon enough. They likely be, uuuhhm, spectacular when they happen. I'd say if you've shot two coyotes with no exit, you should buy a lotto ticket. Cause the next one will likely be an eye opener.:)

I liked the 75Vmax out of the 2 25-06s I've owned. Fun, fast and accurate.

x2 on the exits.
Sooner or later it will happen to you.

I like the 75's as well.

I shoot the 75 Vmax out of my 6br @ 3350 fps. May sound hard to believe but I have not had one exit or splash entry so far in 15 dogs. All coyotes have been between 80-120 yards. It has flattened them all with no runners, they just tip over...
