Looking at the newspaper under the whitefish..... I would say that its Dalemead lake, south of Langdon ( and I recognize that patch of ice )

That Northern will be great eating if you know how to clean it properly. I can fry up a Walleye and a Pike in the same pan and you would'nt even know the difference. Congrats on the great haul!!

i normally don't keep big pike either.we saw dozens over 90cm this trip tho. extremely stable pop'n.
i agree with the great eating thought "walleye101". nothing hits the frying pan unless it's 100% boneless and they are fantastic table fare!!!!
