Coyote bounty?

Someone told me yesterday,due to a high amount of Mainge this spring there is a coyote bounty.50$ a coyote just wondering if this is true or not ?anybody else here about it? Thanks

You can kill mangy coyotes but unfortunately the mange mite is transferred between animals at the densite. Mites will brush off its host onto the den roof and go to the next host. The gov't would be better off killing infected yappers and also treating/spraying all the densites to irradicate the mites.

The two figures that Ive heard for coyote bounties are either15 or 25 dollars. I don't know but Im guessing the bounty is on account of high coyote numbers as opposed to the control of mange. Mange occurs when coyotes over populate and mother nature steps in. Mange infected coyotes usually die a very slow and painful death.
