Yeah we were looking for Lakers...95 feet of water and that lizard bit..biggest one I have seen...that is 34 inch rod beside it....good news is we caught 16 Lakers between the 2 of us.

Lakers were certainly on this last weekend. Got into +80 lakers between the 2 of us on Sunday/Monday including several over +75cm, one went 91cm. All went back to be caught another day. It was Colder than you know what out there. Had a tough time keeping the reels from freezing up. In/out of the tent every few minutes to defrost the bait cast & power pro. Got into a great Walleye bite Sunday afternoon/and evening on another lake. Nothing big but Walleye a plenty. We were not counting but easily over +50 fish in 4-1/2 hours.

A bit cool but a great weekend. Too bad it’s all over for the season.

We were up on Saturday and had to fish hard for the one's we caught...biggest one was maybe 60...sure alot of guys fishing the bay for Walleye...pretty much had the big portion of the lake to ourselves!
