Hello all.
I am moving from Ireland to calgary in june to work and i am wondering if the pike fishing is good there any info would be greatly appreciated.

There is good fishing all over Alberta for pike, walleye, trout, sturgeon and so on.....just do a quick search and you will see some good spots. Welcome to Canada....its snowing LOL. SCHOOCH

Get in touch when you get here. I'm sure we have can take you out. Lots of opportunity around here to catch a few.

But, it should be..................... (Not meaning max size as yes European pike have greater max potential)

Always good to have more Irish and fishermen. There are lots of rugby teams you can look up if you are so inclined.

Not to denigrate the pike, but the trout fishing in the Bow river is world class, give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Girlie fish ;) we have some great sturgeon fishing as well, if you like fish that fight
