Hey so I have had a few cams in the past but I'm trying to catch some vandles out on our land. I remember in the past some controversy about cams that send photos to your mobile device as animals or intruders get there pics taken? Do they exist? What's the brand name? How well do they work? Are they legal in Alberta.

There are a few that send images to text/email.
The 'sponsor' above (Uway) is just one on many; Scoutguard, Little Acorn, or the UO Vision Panda are others. The reviews I've read are mixed.

I think the technology is still in its infancy, though they seem to be working on smoothing out the kinks. I personally haven't put down the money to try one out.

The are legal in Alberta, as long as you use them in public areas, or on private land you have permission to access. (Putting one in your neighbor's bathroom without permission would be a no-no).

A search for "MMS Trail Cameras" will turn up results.

Concealment isn't the issue so much. I want it to send me an email at 3am went the little Jasper's are trespassing and I can meet them out there.....
