Buffalo Lake Pheasant Release Site?

Never been pheasant hunting and thinking of giving it a try. What should i expect? Is there public land to hunt at the Buffalo Lake release site? What are the chances of getting a rooster?
any info appreciated!

It is "Bucks for Wildlife "land ,and they only release roosters.
