A biologist friend of mine from Texas, posted these pics on another site. There's a few bobcats, but lots of coyotes. It is interesting to see that coyotes will eat anything from watermelon to alligator, sheep to deer.
I have lots of pics, so I'll post a few at a time.

The coyote on his hind legs is after figs. There is another eating apples from the ground. The one with the seeds was shot on a watermelon farm.

You won't see these pics on the antis sites.:thinking-006:

neat photos... coyotes truly are survivors , years ago when the snow was deep we snared near or around silage pits for coyotes their mouths were green they will eat anything , they must have a very unique digestive track.

I've seen Coyote eating Saskatoons among other things.

I have no doubt that they will eat anything edible that they can get a hold of.

My wife called me one day from home. There was a coyote up in our apple tree. He was eating apples and pretty much ignoring the yellow lab barking underneath the tree.:thinking-006:

They do that at my parents place as well. Not sure if they climb in the trees, but they do come in the yard and eat any fallen apples that they find. They have also been spotted in the garden raiding carrots on occasion.

Great pics for sure! Thanks for posting them. I have watched coyotes chase, catch and eat grasshoppers.
Also, one time I was set up in a Double Bull blind on a waterhole in early September for archery antelope. A solitary, juvenile coyote came in, I surmised it was thirsty. However, he walked around the entire land locked dugout, and was dipping his head in the water. He was catching and eating Sculpins!!!
His mother obviously taught him that, and I am not sure how Sculpins came to be in that water...was very cool for sure.
Coyotes are smart critters!

Cool Keg!!

I like to watch them hunt like that in the powder snow.:)

Greylynx, that cat seems to be saying "No worries, I got this":)

I wish I had pics of a coyote in Manning park in B.C. He could catch a sandwich in the air.

Sculpin are small, bottom dwelling fish. The ones he was catching were about 3 or 4 inches long...was pretty amazing.

The areas I hunt for mulies is full of choke cherries. I always found lots of scat full of seeds and just assumed it was coyotes, now I am sure it is. Great pics.
