Nice! Must have caught the CO on a good day to get the permit for it. I heard for eagles it is hit or miss if they will issue one.

Driving home from cold lake last weekend and saw an eagle on side of road eating a road kill deer. Was pretty cool!

I dont really care for Eagle Meat, it is not quite so Oily as Trumpeter Swan but

far from being as tasty as Spotted Owl ! my favorite ! :grouphugg:

On a base too, great find!! :sHa_shakeshout:

Beauty find, I put many miles on a year for work and am always hoping to find some birds of prey.

Actually caught a red tail on hwy 43 with my coat which I thought had been hit and injured. I took him to a bird sanctuary on Ellerslie where they kept him for a few days and let him go. They said they couldn't find anything wrong with him other than a small scratch on his head. He pretty much stood there while I walked up and threw my coat on him. lol He must have been dazed.

Nice job. on the Taxidermy too.

I have been turned down for a permit for this reason but I know 2 guys who were approved but they are status card holders

I have a coopers hawk and great horned owl mounted under permit
