bio figures pike will be shut down for at least 5 to 10 years in Newell to recover. also asked about walleye retention in CVR , they are going to test net it next year and see what whats up, may go to a tag system in the next few years

Seems to me like you are going to have to buy you liecence and then buy a tag for everything.
Cash grab all around, they mismanage it and we have to pay...

Ya, good fishing if your a big predator scientist armed with premium specific spot on the spot locations and bullet proof systems and tactics... Hardly a fishery one would refer to as stable or healthy, unless a guy is a walleye fisherman and prefers a fishery stringently managed solely as a walleye fishery. Catch and kill meat market on apex pred. for decades, to flood a system with a species that never should have been stocked. Hmmm.
