My 2012 Season is Home :)

The fall of 2012 I was fortunate enough to harvest 3 great deer. I wanted to display these deer together as well. After looking at hundreds of pictures and never seeing exactly what I wanted I decided to gather what I needed for my taxidermist. I made the base collected the log. Once that was done I hollowed out the bottom 18" of the log and made a way to slide it onto the base so it could be removed to get it into the house. Once that was done I offered some direction of what I had in mind and Doug took over by completing the deer and the natural display of the base.

Today I was able to pick up this creation. I am very happy to show off this piece. I am super happy and can't wait to share this mount with some friends that were involved.

It was a great season shared with friends.

I can't find the 3rd deer?

3rd Deer is actually laying by the grass on the base. It is Euro mounted, I had taken the picture before it was in it's final resting spot.
