I work in the Nohdegg area spring till fall each year and I have hunted the Nordegg area all my life. I have and still am an avid Sheep hunter. Last
summer I had a chat with a biologist who works with sheep. She told me that
the sheep population on the Ram Range was barely holding their own. The
big threat to the popuation on this range is cougars.
I would be very surprised if 328 was open again even in the next five years.
This is just my opinion only.

Did the biologist mention if the Cougars were selectively harvesting the "Best" sheep, inducing a genetic shift? :)

I wonder how they will spin Cougar mortality to maintain the genetic harm theory?

Do explain, I am curious.
