I have owned the Vortex Razor 8X42 for 1.5 years and am on my third pair...but not because of Vortex, haha! They have great customer service. The first pair got dinged up river tubing in Montana - they sent me a new pair for free because they are supposed to be waterproof. Then someone broke into my house last spring and stole my second pair of binoculars. I contacted Vortex again and they sold me their professional demo for half the price.

All Vortex bins have a lifetime warranty - no questions asked. Plus the lens quality is awesome. I watched 2 bucks sparring well past light and I could see them quite well with my binoculars but it was too dark with the naked eye. One thing about this model is they are quite heavy but if you want them to work well in low light conditions you need to get binoculars with a big exit pupil - 42 mm.

Vulture 10x50, super, without question great value. Just bought a diamondback 3.5-10x50 scope as well.

My bro has the 8x42 binos and they are excellent. We bought them from Cameraland in New York. Great prices.
