Has anyone loaded imr 7828 in win brass and Hornady 130 interbonds for the .270 wsm? I have some info that indicates 65 grains is the starting point for this powder and this will provide 3300 fps mv in a 24" barrel?

I have a bottle of 7828 and 7828SSC but my reloads with Retumbo are awesome with 140gr Accubonds so I havent tried the IMR powder. I get very close to 3300ft/s with my 140's in my Tikka T3 LS 270WSM.

I'm using IMR 7828 but loading 140 TSX's with 65.5 grains (supposed to give 3300 fps at 65.0 grs). The data looks the same for the 130's, max load 65.0 grains. My chrony is shot so I don't know what speed I'm getting.

Rocks;
I loaded 130 gr Hornady interlocks with 65 gr of 7828 in my .270 wsm and they chronographed a speed of 3000 fps which was disappointing in a T3 24" barrel. They do group around 1" at 100 yds. Going to start increasing powder charges by .5 grains as I see that some loads with 130 gr bullet have been loaded to a max of 68 gr of IMR 7828. 66 gr of 7828 have not shown any pressure signs at all.

What kind of performance are you getting with your TSX bullets on game? I just loaded some up but haven't killed anything with them yet.

I'm using that same load, started this hunting season, and have killed a goat and a moose, one shot each, pass throughs on both, good clean kills.
