stopped in at Kinbrook on the way home the launch at Kinbrook still has some ice, and probably half or more of the whole lake is still covered. Looks all slushy though so I think the first big wind will probably clear a lot of it out.

Awesome pics thanks for posting!! I was in Calgary for a bit of work and planned to head down south and shoot my first gopher in 30plus years but the wife came so the .22 stayed behind. The day had more sun than the forecaster planned for so it would have been great day . Thanks again

We drove out to the Linbrook campground this morning April 26th and the lake has no ice on it..... so with weather permitting, I am hoping to gt the boat on the water next weekend before fishing season starts and get all of the bugs out of the boat.

Beautiful pics Wayne! Are you banned from sturgeon this year because of the shoulder? Something tells me it could be hanging from the socket and you'd still be holding sturgeon in the other arm. lol!

stopped in on the way home again, as mentioned what a difference a couple days and some wind makes, I checked the Kinbrook launch, no ice in sight and Jackfish bay again no ice anywhere in sight.

I'm going to try it today. CVR was fantastic last night.

Its been really slow at newel on the Walley department because of spawning and they are finished now but it's still terrible slow but starting to pic up in the last 4 days the are starting to get the feed bag on witch is nice we're I've been fishing only been catching 2-5 a night but everything is over 28" best I've caught so far is 30" but it's getting better every day for the big girls
