Damned nice looking rifle and they feel pretty nice - this from a guy who never had any use for a Savage 'til I got a steal of a buy on a 200 Stevens 7-08 that can outshoot guns I have that cost 10X as nuch. That 114 Classic really feels nice - the fit and finish on the one I checked out was very high quality and it felt and balanced like a great shotgun - natural point to it. They did a great job on the lumber too. Pretty little thing.

I looked at the Savage 114 American Classic in a LH .270 wsm. The clip holds only 2 rounds, the wood stock was very plain and the gun was much heavier than the T3. I own several 110 LH Savages and have been happy with them. But I decided on the T3 and am very happy with it. The T3 tuppeware clip which holds 3 rounds feeds very very smooth, even with the fat wsm rounds.

I just received the Euro version in .308 from SIR. Shoots tighter groups than anything else in my gun vault. I'm very pleased with my Savage.
