Anyone have a service manual for a Princecraft 172?

I'm trying to replace my bow mount trolling motor, but I can't figure out how to get under where the trolling motor is mounted.

I took the floor up, but I still couldn't get into the little platform at the front of the boat.

Does anyone know how to do this, or have the service manual handy?

I'm pretty close to bringing it into BassPro for them to install!!

Isn't there a panel with the electrical hookup that unscrews and comes off for access?

I'm trying to remember This model, I installed one on a princecraft that had 4 or 5 big screws that held the carpeted panel onto the boat. The crws were buried in the carpet pile....don't go to basspro their accessory installers are fools. Just inspected my new tracker accessory installs - to keep a long story short they only installed 4 bolts on my Terrova troller and only 2 of them had nuts installed.

Total disaster......

Why not just call Princecraft and ask? It would surely save you a bunch of grief. Just my opinion.

x2 on the "screw heads buried in the carpet" comment ..... it's likely they are well countersunk so you will have to feel around to find them.
