spent a couple hours touring lakes after taking down my winter camp near Rocky. Went to twin lakes, cow lake, and burnstick - ice is still in except for a couple feet at shore. Looks like a couple weeks until they open up......

Burntstick is still wall to wall ice today, couple of loons flying overhead, looking for a home. Birch Lake is about the same. Have to pass a dead sheep, beside the road to get there.

How about birch and iron side? I'm guessing good and ice free? Anyone been out? Debating fishing sun up to sundown Tuesday on the toon, likely on birch. PM if ya want

I've heard fiesta had a bad kill. Are there any other report of kills in the region?

Was at birch lake on the weekend. Still wall to wall ice. From what I saw of beaver driving by still lots of ice.

Beaver is ice free as of May 12. Water temp at 46 F, I got one fish. No hatches yet.
