“Experienced” car thieves kill two in Saskatoon

A simple police stop turned into a nightmare, two 17 year olds were killed and one 16 year old was seriously injured by a stolen truck driven by thieves with previous records.

Funny you should say that

With multiculturalism, a lot of the middle east is already here.

As well, many other cultures are also here.

Some of these cultures have a more "hands on" approach to dealing with situations regarding the death of loved ones.

They are efficient in getting rid of leaders they no longer want.

ie: Khadafi, Amin, Hussein to name a few. Real political terrors who were only tough when they were well insulated and protected. Once that curtain was brought down, they were either fleeing or hiding in some rathole somewhere, crying like babies. They were not freedom fighters or heros. They were scum who terrorised their own people and banked US dollars. Their own people recognized this and got rid of them.

Bin Laden. Freedom fighter turned coward. He got ratted out and they killed him metres from his porn stash. Apparently, "evil western values" only applied to others.....

It wont be for a few decades yet, but the face of Canada will change.

We already have Somalians taking care of their own here. Before that it was the Lebanese and Vietnamese. Cultures that deal with issues directly and permanently.

Canada will change. It has to. Today is as close to original as it will ever be.

Not sure if I like that or not. Multiculturalism is a fine thing, but it is not perfect. Eventually, one will want to be dominant.

Cheyann Chrystal Peeteetuce, 21, faces a series of charges, including impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm, flight causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, criminal negligence causing death, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.
She limped into court and had a bandage on her hand. The prosecutor said the Crown was opposed to bail and Peeteetuce was remanded in custody.

When are these Judges going to realize probation is nothing but a get out of jail card

What would happen if Judges and Crown Prosecutors were voted in by the public instead of appointed by the current government at the time?
They would be beholding to the people, not a Party.
If you were prone to sentences disagreeable to what society considered acceptable, no re-election for you. Simple.

Lots of drunk drivers will be arrested today.

Some people dont care.

TV commercials, posters, marches, vigils etcetc are a complete waste of time. People know drinking/driving is wrong, but they dont care and do it anyway.

Voting in prosecutors and judges wont work either. We vote in politicians and we get screwed at every turn.

Canada is like a poorly maintained road. It needs resurfacing.

Canada needs an overhaul. There is no tradition. Not since we decided it is more important to be "open" to everyone than to respect our past. We gave up Canada a while ago. Its just a name now.
