Ideas for guided fly-in Saskatchewan trip

Looking for ideas for a nice fly in lodge with guides and nice accommodations to bring my father for his 70th birthday.

Reindeer lake, cree lake or lake Athabasca have real nice lodges

I believe Alpineguy on here has a lodge in northern sask as well, a buddy if mine has fished up there a quite a few times with him but i cant recall the name of the lake.

might be worth a look.

Goloskys don't own it. Chris lambert does. I used to run it for 3 seasons. Beauty lodge and boats but the guides are junk.

Ive guided on all of the triple giants of the north. Great Bear, Slave and Lake Athabasca. If I could pick only one to fish at out of the 3 I would pick Athabacsa. The average size for Trout is the biggest and the pike fishing is crazy good with many northerns breaking 44 inches. I am booking a trip for a week to Indian head early July 2015.

Crackingstone peninsula and spring bay are the best areas. I know them well. One of the few places around you can do the quarter quarter club in a day or week. 25 lb later 25 lb pike

Spring bay yes.... crackingstone I find isnt very good. Good for grayling.... a few pike holes over there. Langley bay is good and moose bay as long as water levels are okay. .. lots of pike holes a bit east. . Where did you guide and when? Sounds like lakers possibly??
