Have you ever watched buck jack rabbits scrap during mating season? Just like MasterCard-priceless!!! Nasty.

I don't know much about wild rabbits, but I have seen two domestic male rabbits housed together and one literally castrated the other (bit a hole in the scrotum and either completely removed both testes or removed one and had the other hanging by a thread). Not a pleasant sight!

I'm not sure when jackrabbits start to " do their thing" but I found a baby one two weeks ago in fort Saskatchewan?! I thought that it was awfully early?

They are rabbits, they don't have a mating season. They're like 18 year old guys, always on the make.:scared0018:

Okay, so the first part isn't true, Oh well, I tried. LOL

Cool photo. Our bush rabbits, (Varying Hare ) keep to heavy cover and aren't often observed doing their thing.
