Good place to fish this time of year in/near Calgary

I would like to take my daughter fishing this weekend, weather permitting and would like to stay close to home. Any suggestions on a good place in Calgary to fish for some trout.

Try Dewitt's trout pond just north of calgary

Or you could try chain, south west of Calgary. Kid friendly with washrooms and fairly easy to walk shoreline. Stocked rainbows there.

Tried Dewitts a couple weeks ago, maybe now it won't be frozen over. And Kokanee9, did you mean chain lakes?
