We departed Sylvan early this morning and decided today, were after Rainbow's .... here's a few pic's from our road trip.

First stop Dickson Trout Pond .... lots of dead Mr. Sucks, our feathered fishin buddies caught a few Bow's, all we caught was 4 Mr. Sucks, so they all didn't die, we chatted with a couple of other guy's no one here had any Bow's .... we moved on .....

Next stop Beaver Lake .... got stuck in a major traffic jam in down town Caroline .... everyone loves a Parade!

Finally made it to Beaver, got a few nice Bow's, some guys got blanked and others said the caught 6, there were 7 boats out, a bit windy but warm. Backwabbit will post a few pic's he managed to land a few I caught one small one on a Muddler Minnow & it got off by shore. My first time out here, beautiful country, plan to go back with our float tubes.

We departed about 3:00 pm and decide to stop at Dickson Dam, never been here before, a few people fishin, lots of current, muddy water not great conditions. Bwackwabbit got a nice trout on his 3rd cast, I got blanked! Plan on coming back here in the future.

a little confused as i haven't fish that area much but isn't dickson trout pond at dickson dam?

Thx Ninja, they are close to each other but the pond is a part of Glennifer lake (created by the dam). The pond is separated from the lake by a man made berm. You can see it in Zip's 8th pic.

Great thread lads, congrats on the fish. Sad to see a the die off at the ponds.nice little brown fron the bottom of the dam. Been a tough spring this year.
