Battle river walleye!

Caught this fatty tonight in the battle river! Definitely shocked me and did not expect it so I thought I'd share. She came out at 24" and 5lbs 6oz

Nice! There is the odd one kicking around! Ive caught a few! One was 7-8 lbs lol, thought i had a nice Pike! Lol

Sweet!!! The odd walleye can be caught throughout the river.... however the farther you go downstream, like hardisty and beyond, you can catch them with more consistency...... what part of the river were you fishing?

Thanks! Yeah I heard that too but I'm never out that way. I caught this one right under the bridge and the battle river generating station just south of forestburg! It was definitely a surprise!

Yeah down here come late summer early fall the big girls come out. Usually catch a few 10 to 12 lbs walleyes every year down here. I have a few honey holes i might let go... maybe haha
