After an appointment and spraying dandelions this morning, I packed up and headed back out to Wabamun. Absolutely gorgeous day out there and when I arrived at 1 pm, I only noticed 2 other boats on the lake and glass calm conditions.

Loving the new reel on the GLoomis. Shimano Chronarch Ci4 spooled with 30lb PowerPro. Smooth as silk and cast a mile.

My go to setup for trolling. 7'10" Tour KVD medium heavy moderate action with a Quantum Tour Edition reel spooled with 30lb PowerPro.

I use a 30lb flourocarbon leader I build myself. Use a palomar knot to fasten the swivels and clasp and put a dab of Krazy Glue on the knot just for extra piece of mind. Seem to last forever and do not cut the fish if they get wrapped up in it. Will never use titanium or steel leaders again.
Fallis. Caught a few pike here, nothing big though.

Best luck fishing was in the same spot where I got the leviathan from the deep on Monday. 6 feet of water off the one point. Biggest would have been 10lbs or so with the rest in the leviathan in training category.

Hopefully did not bore anyone to tears. New net will be picked up tomorrow and am mounting the GoPro on it so hopefully get some good action pictures next trip out. All in all is was a nice day out there.
