There's got to be a record somewhere -filed in his former dept's Records Mgt. office- noting that such and such a file, covering Prentice's travel expense claims for a given fiscal year, was destroyed on such and such a date. Federal records don't just get shredded without leaving a record of the action taken.

Given the generalized sense of entitlement revealed in the past few years, this particular revelation by the Cdn. Taxpayers' Federation is not all that surprising is it.
