You are getting married down there congrates. yeah that shark was crazy unfortunatly it was my buddies turn to real in and that thing was on the other end.. They called it a gollapolas (spl??) shark, almost pulled buddy over the edge, cause he just had the rod wedged in his stomach.

The capt. called it a Galapagos shark.

It was fricken awesome. The only thing I wish is that we hooked a marlin. But the capt. asked us if we wanted to catch fish or try for a Marlin. We opted to catch fish and have fun instead af trolling around and the odds of hooking a marlin was slim apparently.

The first trip was for yellow fin tuna, and the second trip the capt. took us out at 1 am to catch live bait and then on for mahi mahi. would go fishing there again in a heart beat. we where even allowed to keep the meat from the smaller tuna, what an amazing feist we had.

Here is the link to the website

if you book with them try and get Capt. Mark Davis.. he was awesome. My buddy and me went on two private charters with him in the same week. One for Yellow fin tuna (shark was a bonus) and the second was Mahi Mahi. they are out of the Lahania harbour.

Thanks Chuck,

We went with them two years ago actually but didn't catch anything at all. Not even a sniff. Willing to try again though after seeing those pictures!
