Fish are HEAVY on the Damsel Fly Nymphs and are biting very light on hatch days (Being Saturday). The fact they were hitting constantly was a mystery with guts full of these nymphs that look like baby dragon fly nymphs. Howver, every once in a while, they would get hooked so still OK.
Sunday AM was a different story, first cast, 3 hits, finally hooked him by the boat. Double headers, keeper fish, water was still very clear. Lots of action. Wind was perfect for a good drift.
White jig, chartreuse head, 3/8 ounce, piece of belly strip or a minnow. 9 - 12 FOW.
