Lac la biche fishing

Thinking of going to try out Lac La Bitch lake this weekend. Any reports on fishing? Any tips on some good spots?

I was talking to the Fish & Wildlife Officer up there last weekend and he said the best place right now is near the Owl river Inlet. There is a boat launch just south of the 858/881 intersection and another at Owl River. I didn't make it up there myself though as I was only there for the weekend and didn't have time.

I also caught some small pike off the dock on the way out to Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park and a couple on the lake in the same general area.
