Heading up to joussard with wife for afew days of fishing this weekend.Havent fished this area of slave before and wondering where to go for some walleye action, also how is the boat launch?Can't wait to taste a fresh wally fillet.What depth are they feeding in this time of year,thanks for any tips.

Heading there myself, I'll be there from Thursday to Monday. I was there a month ago and it was AMAZING! We fished west of the jousard public boat launch in 6' of water, jig head with minnow was all you needed. I would suspect they will be a little deeper, maybe 8-10'. May have to troll a harness who knows. Good luck and tight lines

There's a drop off a couple hundred feet out from the Joussard launch, you'll see the other boats lined up along it. Anchor or drift that area with a jig and minnow/worm or troll a crank bait if it's not too congested.
