Will be going to K-Country for some camping. Wondering if there are any spots that are kid friendly for fishing from shore?

I assume upper and lower lakes, anywhere else?

I'm not looking for a honey hole either don't worry.

By kid friendly I mean, not too much of a hike they are young.

Thanks

I was at Upper Kananaskis a few weeks back. I noticed there were a few people catching fish near the boat launch. They were all shore fishing.

Wedge Pond is another choice.

In relationship to the golf course, where is this?

Other (east) side of the highway and down the road (south) about 3km.

Lorrette Ponds are good for kids, too, about 8 km north of the golf course, on the east side of Hwy 40.

Both are stocked.

ML Ponds are fished out by now, gets hit so hard when stocked. Maybe try Grotto Mountain Pond, Quarry Pond in Canmore, Barrier lake, has some sand on shores which is nice, Wedge Pond.
