Just picked up a new boat yesterday - Crestliner 1650 Fish Hawk, and we are planning our summer vacation at the beginning of August for about 7 or 8 days. Thinking of hopping around some of the southern lakes camping and fishing for Walleye, Pike, Perch and anything else that want to bite our hook.

Any suggestions on lakes with nice campgrounds, good boat launches and the chance of catching a fish would be greatly appreciated.

Getting out to McGregor on Tuesday to get her wet for the first time. Very excited.

Little Bow has a great campground but no more keeping of walleye, but still a great place to boat and fish.

St. Mary Res. is also a great place as well as Crawling Valley, Lake Newell.

Good trout at Chain, south would be Payne, west of Cardston, Beaver Mines and Beauvie by Pincher Creek.
