Canmore Bow River

What is the Bow river like up at Canmore? How high is the water and how dirty is it. Was maybe going to head out there tomorrow morning but i would like to know how the water conditions are. Thanks

One more thing. Ive never really fished this area of the bow and was wondering if someone would be able to give me some headers on where might be a good place to try. Im not asking for exact spots just places to access the river. I will be fly fishing while wading. This is going to be one of my first trips fishing a river bigger than something like dog pound creek, so im rather lost when it comes to fishing bigger rivers. So any help would be really appreciated.
