From a prison cell, serial sex killer Paul Bernardo has charmed and manipulated an attractive, university-educated woman into planning to marry him, QMI Agency has learned.

The 30-year-old London, Ontario, woman admitted she has been writing letters to the Scarborough Rapist, telling friends the schoolgirl killer is "innocent" and was a bystander to the rapes and torture slayings of Kristen French, 15, and Leslie Mahaffy, 14.

She's been corresponding with Bernardo since last fall. But with the relationship now coming to light, the woman said she "did something that got people upset and she is rethinking ... and struggling with it."

The bride-to-be told friends she has wedding bands.

"He is a kind man, a Christian, a very nice man," she told QMI Agency.

How about not even getting to jail in the first place, and saving the country the cost of their trial. It is too bad that the victim's families don't get 2 minutes alone with the perpetrators before any legal action starts, so that the victim's family can "negotiate" a settlement.

She has remarried has three kids ,she dose not live under an assumed name she took her husbands name like most women do. She lives in the caribbean so I don't think she needs an assumed name. She had changed her name to Teale but that was years ago.

Of society have some doubts about Paul's rehabilitation .
The thing about rehabilitation is that you have to have been Habilitated
At some point in your life . We can only assume Paul progressed from dismembering flies , to torturing Kittens and on to humans .
Do you honestly think he would be able to reach out to society at large
If his jailers didn't believe he posed no threat to himself and others .
I did qualify the tape idea as a bad one . And really if he was allowed
Female contact surely to goodness he would quell his sociopathic tendencies
At least till his wedding night .

Too many people think murder is a "game", and that associating with murderers is "cool" - or covering for them is being "a stand-up guy".

Well, murderers cant be trusted. If they did it once, they'd have no compuction about doing it again.
Who's next? Me? You? Another innocent person? One of your kids?

"Rehabilitation" doesn't work, and obviously never has.
Besides, all the "rehabilitation" in the world doesn't bring victims back to life.
