View Full Version : "Unlimited" now has fixed number? New math?

Just saw a Vonage commercial on TV. They had BOLD advertising saying they offered "Unlimited" minutes for a fee. However; the small (and I mean small) print of the screen said it was only 3000 minutes worth.
Doesn't this meet the criteria as false advertising? Or does the fact they put it into small print meal they get away with it?
Shouldn't they be charged with "misleading" advertising?

If the 3000 minutes was printed and understood by you there is no false advertising.

Signed up with rogers a couple of years ago, 3000 minutes a month with 6 gigs data for $80 a month. I don't think there's anything unlimited anymore, but people fall for it.

Yeah, seen that on Vonage. I have a friend who has it and says they're always over and always get a notice that they went over, but no charge.

I agree with what the OP is saying, obviously. It is BS to call it "unlimited" if it's actually limited. I'm just shaking my head.

By the way, with a name like "Rockman", Rockman... you and I are gonna have to :fighting0074:, or just settle it like men over a rock hunt and :happy0180:.
