Got down yesterday at 8:15, pulled this bad girl out right after catching a small goldeye. Was a beast, everyone guess to length and weights!

Tough call... If your arms are 6ft long then its pretty small, if they are only 2 ft long then its a beast!!:bad_boys_20:

Yeah he was longer, and heavier by 2 more ounces the guy from last night haha. Just had him beat, the 30" looks so much more hogged than he was though.

Here is 1 more picture of the slab from last night,

Did those fish smell that bad? Just wondered why you felt the need to hold them out that far away from your body. Those are really nice fish but you dont need to try and manipulate the pic by holding them 3 feet away from your body.

If he held them close would you razz him for removing protective slime when they shake and rub on his shirt??? usually i hold my fish out a bit just for that reason...ive seen lots of big lakers and pike end up sliming peoples clothes when taking a pic! lol. something to think about anyway! NICE Wally Graffy!

I hit the NSR whenever I don't want to haul the boat, or when I just want to have a relaxing peaceful evening at my spot.

All 3 of these walleye have been caught from my spot as well.

I put allot of hours into the river in the last 3 years whether its just been hiking, bike riding on trails, or strolling with a rod and chucking rigs/jigs. I also belive the NSR has the biggest walleye in Alberta in it and the healthiest, no matter what lake were talking.

The river is full of beautiful, clean, plump walleye. Better than Pigeon, Ste. Anne, or any other walleye littered and stunted lake.

There is also no greater feeling than catching slob walleye from right in my backyard. I love telling people when they ask me, where do I catch these things? I reply right from the river, they are absolutely mind boggled because everyone seems to think the river is this dirty, slough of a river.

:sHa_shakeshout::sHa_shakeshout::sHa_shakeshout: Heading down tonight again, can't wait.

I know exactly what you mean, I mainly sturgeon fish but when you catch a 28"+ beast while doing it, it just adds to the fun. Here's a just over 28" from last week that gave me quite the fight lol.
