Thinking about going to London for a week and am looking into travel options...there's the:

Oyster Card
Visitor Oyster Card
7 day Pass
5 Day Pass
4 Day Pass
3 Day Pass
2 Day Pass
Day Travel Card
Anytime Day Travelcards
London Pass w/Travel
Bus Pass
Tram Pass

You can buy Day Travelcards for the following zones:
•Zones 1-2 (only Anytime Day Travelcards are available for these zones)
•Zones 1-4 (only Anytime Day Travelcards are available for these zones)
•Zones 1-6
•Zones 1-9
•Zones 1-9 including Watford Junction

Just buy an Oyster card, put 20 pounds on it and if you run out of money add as you need it.

Best option. Unless you are traveling with teens, then the kid's day pass is good for them, and kids under 11 is free if they are accompanied by an adult.

Agree. Oyster card is the way to go.
