Truck bug deflectors

Is there such a thing or are they just all hood protectors?

My experience in the past is the manufactures have omitted the 'deflector' part. Driving back from SK last night I had to stop twice just to clean the windshield.

Any recommendations for a DEFLECTOR that actually works? Lund? Stampede? Other? Alpineman, whatcha' got? :)

They seem to help. I had one that had kind of a concave curve on the leading edge that probably works better than the concave or the old flat ones.

Probably nothing will keep them completely off, but a certain percentage of reduction would be gladly received.

Reminds me, I haven't had one for a number of years, and I think I'm in the market myself.
