Anywhere you can get to the water I use a 3 way swivel rig and minnow, you can cast small spinners, spoons and jigs out west u can catch me every cast in the evening it seems.

worm on a hook and split shot with float.

or worm/hook weight near bottom.

Sometimes float works best, sometimes weight on bottom.

Pickerel Rig ...... throw away the hooks it comes with and replace them with some decent size 8 or 10's and attach a 3/4 oz to 1 oz sinker and add a piece of dew worm on the hooks.

Fire it into the seam of the current and let it bounce along.

Fish on .......... double headers on the same line !!!!!!!! now that's fun.

I am not an expert on the NSR .... but we did this on the bow right below the Bassano dam and it worked better than anything else we ever tried.
