Hi guys, my brother picked up his new Explorer Jet boat today, has anyone on here been to the Berland river in a jet boat? Ive been to the cement bridge but not passed there, is there enough water to go farther, maybe to hyway 40.Looking for some tips from a first time river guy.
Thanks for your help:)

Are you launching from the bridge over the Athabasca?
There are a set of three falls... the first one can be a bitch depending on water flow and time of year.
The boat we used had a 1/2 teflon bottom plate, which was invaluable if you get stuck on sand bars.
Aluminum sticks to that like glue.
Its a fun trip... take LOTS of gas.

Here is a video that will give you an idea of the river and how you better know your boat and how to read a river.
Great video.
