I was over on CGN reading about it.

Like I said over there 99.8% of the population don't know where to shoot a bovine for instant kill, why would the cop? The rancher should have told him, if he did or didn't isn't known. If he did then there is a question about marksmanship. Either way the task eventually was completed.

I think it all started when they rode in a tractor bucket to catch those thieves. Been a long year for the officers out in the boonies.

My guess is the cow wasn't exactly sitting still, makes it tough for anyone.

I dont think anyone will dispute that they have a tough job and 95 percent do a good one its the other 5 that are in the news and its unfortunate that thats all youll hear about, the joys of the job most people hate you until they need help then its come quick.
