Spent a week at the shushwaps with the whole fam on a houseboat trip. Fishing was great to boot. Managed to hook into lots of lakers and some ling. didnt do much trolling but also landed a nice 24 inch bow and some tasty Kokanee. Also caught my pb alberta Dino the night before we left.

Im heading out to the shuswap on Saturday for a week any tips ?

For lakers troll with down riggers at 105-115ft. We were using Williams wobblers silver with dimples on the spoon. If your not getting into fish try breaking off your clip and letting the spoon flutter up while still trolling. Lakers will follow and hit on the way up. Also find a nice flat around 120-105ft and jig buck tail jigs off bottom for lakers and ling. try not to drift and keep jigs straight up and down. We back trolled into the wind with our small motor keeping the boat steady as we didnt have long enough ancore rope.
Kokanee and trout were caught trolling at 10-30ft deep long lineing with willow leafs followed by a small Cleo spoon silver and orange.
Oh and the sturg was 57x21. Hoping for a bigger one this weekend😀
