Hi, I will be heading to little bow on the upcoming weekend.

I have a little raft but no trolling motor. I have limited experience catching trouts at Chain Lakes using powerbait. I was wondering what I could expect at little bow.

1-Is shore fishing a good idea?
2-What size hooks are good?
3-Do I need dead bait?
4-What sort of fish reside near the shores?
5-and is it a bad idea to get on the raft with just oars and no motor?

Sorry about the gazzillion questions, I just dont want to go all the way there and come back without any luck. I dont mind coming back empty handed knowing I did the right things haha.

Thanks in advance!

There's a bait ban. Catch and release pike for little bow

You need to get a life bud.

Don't listen to the troll.

there is pike, walleye, lake whitefish and burbot , and perch you can use bait at the reservoir. It would work by boat and shore.
Good Luck

Jig off the far ends of the marina for walleye. I pulled a 14 pound northern pike in from shore on the rocks around the boat launch parking with a Len Thompson red and white.
